2016 Eastern NC Small Grain Field Day

“What Happened to My Wheat This Year, Why Did it Happen, and What Can I Do About It Next Year?” 

Come out to the Small Grain Field Day to learn what has happened to the wheat and practices that you can do next year in order to make it a better wheat year. You will also be able to meet out new Small Grains Extension Specialist, Dr. Angela Post!

We will start bright and early with breakfast at 7:30 am in the field followed by 4 tour stops, ice cream and cookies and will be adjourned by 10:00 am so you can go back to work!

Directions from Washington County: From Plymouth, take NC-32 S to NC-45 S/NC-99 S, turn left on NC-45 S/NC-99 S. Continue on NC-45 S for 30 miles. Turn right on US-264 W. In about 4 miles, turn right on Beech Ridge Rd (there will be a field day sign at the end of the road). Continue on Beech Ridge Rd, turn right on the farm path at the 2nd field day sign. Continue down the farm path until you see us!
